Pack Trips and Drop Camps

For a true wilderness experience.... Stay for awhile.

When the hustle and bustle of every day life is pushing you to the limit, nothing soothes you like a wilderness adventure.  Take time to enjoy nature's bounty.  Be still.  Be quiet.  Relax.  Let the rustic, protected beauty of Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area create a lasting memory.

We make it easy.  While you relax and enjoy the company of good friends or family, our experienced guides handle all the details.  We provide gentle, trail-wise horses.  We pack the necessary gear and supplies.  We even cook your meals!

So give us a call to discuss your adventure.  We can plan a memorable backcountry experience tailored to your personal interests - whether hiking, fishing, hunting, taking photos, or just relaxing and enjoying being outdoors.  Regardless of your skill and ability, our experienced guides are ready to serve you.

Pack Trips

Our rustic camps allow for a true backcountry experience while providing comfort and incredible food.  Regardless of your interests, overnight trips are perfect for getting back in touch with nature. Spend your time exploring the area, searching for wildlife or relaxing at camp.  Whether you are a first-time camper or an experienced outdoorsman, you will enjoy your high-country adventure more with Three Peaks Outfitters doing the work.

Fishing Trips

For quality alpine lake trout fishing, Three Peaks Outfitters has just the trip for you.  The lakes available to fish range from as low as 3,000 feet in elevation up to 6,000 above sea level.  Lower lakes will hold Eastern Brook, Rainbow, and some Cutthroat Trout.  The higher lakes will be primarily Cutthroat and Rainbows with a couple of the extremely remote alpine lakes holding Golden Trout as well.*  While we talk a lot about the lakes, there is good stream fishing too!

Fishing trips are based on the same model as our pack trips, but with a focus on the angling.  With a base camp typically set at a lake, you can get right to fishing as soon as we ride in.  The next day brings more fishing, either from camp or, for the more adventurous, one of the more remote high alpine lakes which may involve a vigorous hike.

So whether you fish with spinner or a fly, we can tailor a trip just for you.  Give us a call, the fish are striking!

Drop Camps

Is the thought of carrying your camping gear keeping you from enjoying the outdoors?  Would you like to have some luxury items such as camp chairs, large tents, and fresh food.  Let us help by packing in your gear! This is a great option for those with tired backs, young families, and those who are looking for a more economical option to a full blown pack trip.   We pack you and your gear in and out from your designated location and you can stay as long as you would like for a flat rate, optimizing your trip.

Ride one of our horses for the day for a standard drop camp.  Hike or ride your own horse for a hiker drop camp.
