Mule Deer and Elk Hunting

Mule Deer Hunting

Our deer hunting season starts with the High Buck hunt in mid-September in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area.  This is a very challenging hunt with the classic high terrain big bucks like to live in.  In October we switch gears and move into muzzleloader and modern firearm seasons.  These hunts take place in both the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area and the Teanaway, both of which are noted for quality deer.  All of our Mule Deer areas are a 3 point minimum. 

Rocky Mountain Elk Hunting

If you want to hunt elk, think of Cle Elum! Rocky Mountain Elk were introduced into the Cle Elum area in the 1920's from the Yellowstone herd in Wyoming. These are special draw hunts for branch antlered bulls and the areas we guide in are the Peaches Ridge and Observatory Units.  Each of these areas has a specific hunt number associated with the weapon used; please call if you have questions on what to put in for.  We encourage hunters to enter the draws and build their preference points and, when you get drawn for that coveted tag, give us a call. We can help you make your hunt something special.
